Prior to joining the Bridge4Acqusitions team, Lydia filled the role of Procurement Team Lead for the Small Business Consulting Corporation (SBCC). In her role with SBCC, she oversaw all Government customer procurement activities, provided contract administration support, and ensured that SBCC maintained compliance with all ethics regulations and policies.
Lydia is a United States Air Force (USAF) veteran with a background in operational contracting. While on active duty, she obtained her APDP Level I and a bachelor’s degree in Government Contracting and Acquisitions from American Military University (AMU). After separating from active duty, she served as a Contract Specialist on Tyndall AFB with the 772nd Enterprise Sourcing Squadron as a Contract Specialist. During her time at Tyndall, she partnered with the Air Force Civil Engineer Center’s (AFCEC) Advance Meter Reading System (AMRS) Program Management team to provide contract administration support for metering implementation projects across the United States.
Lydia’s background in Government contracting enables her to provide insight into the intricate processes that often create challenges for companies seeking to work with the DoD and allows her to assist in mitigating those challenges to provide innovative solutions to government customers.
